Cairo, 22nd July 2015: 1001 Inventions, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and the Library of Alexandria announced today their partnership to bring to Alexandria the award-winning 1001 Inventions blockbuster exhibtion.
The 8-week celebration, starting October 2015, will feature interactive exhibitions, educational films, live science shows, hands-on workshops, educational resources and cultural events. The exhibition will be held at the Library of Alexandria Conference Center and will be open to the public.
Dr. Mahmoud Sakr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology said:

The National Educational Programme for Egypt was announced in November 2014 byEgyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab. With the patronage of the Prime Minister and the partnership with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, the Library of Alexandria and Cairo University, 1001 Inventions aims to deliver a highly successful educational programme in Egypt that would reach the the hearts and minds of millions of people in Egypt through a journey to the past to inspire a better future.
