SECOND CALL FOR PAPERS  01/04/2010
Fourteenth International Middle East Power Systems Conference (MEPCON10),
Cairo, Egypt, December 19-21, 2010

The Fourteenth International Middle East Power Systems Conference (MEPCON10) in cooperation
with IEEE Egypt Section will be held on December 19-21, 2010, Cairo, Egypt. The objective of the
conference is to present most-up-to-date academic and technological progress in key areas of electric
power engineering and related subjects.It will provide a forum for national and international university faculties,
research institutes, industry and utility engineers to exchange new concepts and challenges for the future.
The conference will be held in Al Masah Hotel near El Nasr Main Road (Extension of Autostrade Way)
in Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt.This five star hotel is located in central area of Cairo and is close to many
tourist places and shopping centers.

Original papers are solicited in all related areas of power systems as indicated in the attached
First Call For Papers and Conference Web site. Full papers must be submitted in PDF format prepared
strictly following the IEEE Requirements for Creating PDF Documents for the IEEE Xplore. For detailed
format information, please visit the conference's Web site. All accepted papers will be published in the
Mepcon'10 Conference Proceedings and will be further reviewed for possible publications in the
Mepcon10 International Journal.
Important Dates are:

May 30, 2010: Deadline for initial submission of full papers and organized sessions
August 31, 2010: Notification of paper and organized sessions acceptance
October 31, 2010: Deadline for final submission of accepted papers manuscripts
November 14, 2010: Late registration for the conference
